Abstract :
In this paper, we conduct an analysis of multi-input multi-output (MIMO) channel capacity based on the partial estimation of the channel by RF measurement and we quantify the difference between the actual and the estimated channel capacity. It is shown that under normal transmission conditions, a quasi-exact value of the actual channel capacity can be deduced from the estimated channel capacity by an appropriate correction of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Such information can be used in an adaptive MIMO system with competitive overhead
