Abstract :
In this paper, the temperature distribution of a a 50 kVA pole cast resin transformer for power distribution is investigated by an FEM program and the temperature rise test of designed cast resin transformer is carried out and the results analyzed and compared to simulation data. In this result, the designed cast resin transformer is satisfied to a limit value of temperature and other properties are good, such as voltage ratio, winding resistance, no-load loss, load loss, impedance voltage and percent regulation.
