Abstract :
The Reservation Readiness Training Project (RRTP) was created to give persons with disabilities a competitive edge when applying for jobs in the travel industry. RRTP, based on the Projects With Industry concept, utilizes specific vocational training and is guided by a Business Advisory Council (BAC) which is made up of employers in the travel industry. Besides providing training on a Simulated Computerised Training System, the RRTP provides 4 weeks of classroom instruction in Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Computer Usage, City and State Code Memorization, Stress Management, and Job Seeking Skills
