Abstract :
In order to derive more large-capacity by using the existing conduit, we have targeted on reducing the outer diameter of conventional 66 kV triplex-type XLPE cable. As a method of reducing the outer diameter, the shape of the round conductor is changed to a compact sector conductor. Various tests were conducted, and it was verified those performance equivalent to those of the currently used 66 kV triplex-type XLPE cable could be obtained.
