Abstract :
The explants (root tip, shoot tip, stem segments and leaf segments) from Phalaenopsis hybrid were used in this experiment. The effects of NAA, 6-BA, AC, CM and above explants on callus induction on KC medium were investigated by using orthogonal design (L16(54)). The results indicated that the optimum medium for callus induction is 6-BA 4.0 mg/L+ NAA 0.4 mg/+CM 100 ml/L+AC 0.4 mg/L, and stem segment was used as explant, and the highest induction rate was 52 % as well. The statistical results by SPSS11.5 showed that the hormones have significant effects on callus induction of Phalaenopsis.
