Abstract :
The Commodore 64 computer system was chosen to provide computer access for those whom such interaction was previously unavailable. The development of an adapted joystick (for use as a single switch) and BASIC subroutine makes direct computer use available to low cognitive, physically limited, mentally retarded adults
