Abstract
This paper describes the Interleaved Bridged Shuffle exchange Network (IBSN), a high performance self routing switch proposed for ATM switching systems. The switch performance is studied under uniform, as well as bursty traffic conditions, and it is shown that this switch can achieve high throughput and low cell loss probability using a smaller number of stages when compared to previously reported results
