Abstract :
This paper presents a bi-directional converter using improved delta modulation (IDM), it has a simple structure, a minimum number of components. The non-isolated buck-boost DC / DC converter use IDM controller can achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS) and fast response. In light load condition, it will limit the switching frequency, reduce switching loss of the converter. finally, the operation principle of the proposed converter is described and verified by experimental result.
