Abstract :
It is interesting to study experimentally the simultaneous effect of the optical activity and the external DC electric field on both the all light beam and its polarization components. Experimental study of the change of the all Gauss beam and the polarization components of this beam in BSO crystal of (1~1~0)-cut under the external DC electric field applied to the crystal is conducted in the case when the electrical field is directed parallel to crystallographic direction (1~1~0).
