Abstract :
Self-action of light beams in nonlinear waveguides can be observed at extremely low light power. In this report we have demonstrated theoretically and experimentally the self-action of light beams propagating in a biased Bi12TiO20/Bi12SiO20 planar waveguide fabricated on the crystal of sillenite family under the application of external DC field.
