Abstract :
A steady-state simulation of wet phosphoric acid concentration process was carried out. The electrolyte-NRTL model was used to calculate the activity coefficients of species considered in the aqueous phosphoric acid solutions. Only, a calcium sulfate was considered to be deposed on the heat exchangers. Different mathematical model were employed for simulation of unit operations of this process. The simulation of many points of cycle of phosphoric acid concentration process was realized. The obtained results were compared to industrial data
