  • Abstract
    Intermediate cooling control scheme of a medium plate plant is introduced. It consists of two-level computer control system. Process level realizes the function of model specification and self-learning, and basic level fulfills the task of plate head and tail tracking, roll table control and spray flow control. As a result of adopting multi purpose interrupted cooling technology, the scheme can reduce holding time of intermediate billet, increase rolling rhythm and production capacity, and guarantees uniform grain size of plate.
