Abstract
In this paper, fiber with active core diameter of 47 μm and a pump core diameter of 400 μm was used. The fiber length was optimized for the pumping conditions and for the pulse width of the light which was phase conjugated and as a pump source, pigtailed diode laser operating at 940 nm with a maximum power of 20 W was chosen. The lowest SBS threshold was observed if a 10 m long fiber with a doping concentration of 2200 ppm was used.
