Abstract
The effects of parameter sensitivity on the steady-state and dynamic performance of indirect vector control schemes for induction motor drive systems are summarized. The parameter adaptation schemes which have evolved over a period of two decades are reviewed and categorized based on their dependence on motor parameters and additional transducer requirements for implementation. This review points to future research directions in this area.<>
