Abstract
This paper will overview the key theoretical concepts and experimental results in lamp-pumped and diode-pumped solid-state lasers based on adaptive laser resonators with wave-mixing in the gain medium. We describe the key results of injected and self-starting resonators. In particular, we will describe our own developments towards >100 W of diode-pumped solid-state laser power with near diffraction-limited beam quality and single-longitudinal mode based on adaptive resonators.
