Abstract :
The global machinery industry is increasingly dependent on CAD data to design and produce products. Because of that dependency, problems with the quality of CAD data lead to problems developing and producing the products. Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out researching on CAD data checking. In this paper, the rule-based product CAD data checking methods and implementation techniques are proposed. With the help of UG NX secondary development language UG / KF, CAD data checking rule classes, the algorithm logics, KF representations and rules management based on the UG NX software platform are described in detail. Finally an application example is given. The result of application example shows that the method has a strong practical value.
