Abstract :
Computed tomography (CT) images acquired through continuous volume scanning (CVS) in a single breath-hold provide the basis for accurate artefact-free three dimensional (3D) renditions of anatomy. The authors present image processing techniques for reconstructing the bronchial tree from CVS data, and representing it as an image that closely resembles bronchoscopy
