Abstract
Health care changes are occurring rapidly. How successfully a health care institution keeps up with these changes depends on information technology and the evaluation of outcomes of care. There have been many studies investigating these factors during the integration of information technology for various applications. This article examines findings from the related literature and derives some lessons on how they can be utilized in the integration of information technology with outcomes management in the health care environment
