  • Abstract
    Based on the characteristic of actual production process in Chlor-alkali chemical industry, we designed a gas leakage monitoring and warning computer system, which could improve the safety of chemical production. This system consists of a main computer station and a number of monitoring sub-stations. Data are exchanged through wireless radio between the main station and the sub-stations. It can collect and store data in real-time, it can also print and analyze the real-time and past gas concentration curve. When the system detect gas leakage, it will close the corresponding valve up timely to avoid any further spread of the danger, while the computer will warn the relevant workers automatically, by which the safety level will be greatly improved.
