Abstract :
Self-compensation flexible transmission is introduced into final drive in the reforming of dual drive system of the large rotational equipment. Based on the abrasion transfer principle, the abrasion of big gear ring is transformed fully to roller wheel. And the conception of coarse and delicate adjustment is imported. Exactitude engagement of pinion wheel and big gear ring is guaranteed by big hydraulic cylinder during installation. Small hydraulic cylinder installed in the roller wheel can adjust delicately according to abrasion of the roller wheel and thus it realizes automatic compensation. So pinion wheel can automatically modulate its position to guarantee the best meshing state of pinion wheel and big gear ring. A dynamic model of the flexible transmission is established. The excellent dynamic characteristic of the device are proved by the dynamic model and Lagrange´s Equation of Motion. It provides the theoretical basis and design parameters for upgrading the dual drive transmission system of the large rotational equipment.
