Abstract
For a class of nonlinear monotone resistive networks, we present necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of two iterative procedures, which are akin to respectively the explicit and implicit Euler methods. These conditions identify the types of nonlinear networks for which these iterative methods will converge
