Abstract :
Describes research work that has resulted in the availability of a development-class medium size carbon dioxide laser system, suitable for research, micro-machining, and medical applications. The control computer allows the laser output power to be adjusted to any level up to 20 W, and the output beam frequency to be line tunable across the 10.6 μm spectral band
