Abstract :
In this paper with the quasi-TEM assumption we present a time domain analysis for solving the transient problem of nonuniformly coupled transmission lines. It is shown that the transient behavior over the whole nonuniformly coupled transmission lines are analyzed by using the MCD method. The instantaneous voltage and current distributions for inductively and capacitively nonuniform coupling are demonstrated graphically in the transient and steady state regions
