Abstract :
An average switch model for a newly proposed boost PWM soft-single-switched converter operating in continuous conduction mode is developed to enable small signal and transient analysis. This model is implemented by a PSPICE sub-circuit. Results of DC and transient analysis on this model and on a straight forward cycle to cycle model are compared to verify its validity, and very good results are obtained. Small signal analysis results are also given. Using this model the required simulation time is drastically reduced
