Universities as an input-output system, its size is an important factor in education efficiency of investment. We use the 2006 financial report data of 76 institutions directly under the Ministry of Education, use CCR, BCC and NIRS models of DEA to empirical analysis, finds many universities exist scale diseconomies phenomenon, but the scale economies in kinds of universities are different.
