Abstract :
Aiming at the problem of characters defects in the process of bearing production, a set of bearing characters recognition system is designed based on LabVIEW. The system collects the bearing images by CCD camera, the image acquisition card transforms the analog signal into digital signal and the data is delivered to the computer, the program can extract and recognize the characters features by the process of bearing positioning, characters partition, normalization and so on. Experimental results show that the method can replace the manual inspection and improve the productivity and the percent of pass of the bearing.
