Abstract :
This paper discusses radio source localization estimation using array antennas. We first show some results of localization estimated by conventional methods and then propose an alternative approach for the localization using the signal subspaces obtained by array antennas. The signal subspaces, which include information about the strengths and angles of arrival of impinging signals on the array antenna, are utilized as the terminal fingerprint to identify the location of the terminal. We conducted some experiments to confirm the validity and effectiveness of our method.
