Abstract :
Design of an active-clamp discontinuous conduction mode flyback converter (ADCMFC) is presented with the emphasis on output efficiency. The control of such a converter using PI, PID and LQR control had been explored. Both the simulation results and a practical circuit had been used to verify the design and the performance of the converter. Further suggestion of using neuro-fuzzy and generic type of controller is also proposed
