Abstract :
In "artificial fish", computer animation is created with artificial life. The model of multi-perception system of artificial fish is built according to the theory of generalized artificial life (GAL). The technique of "agent" and concept of "intelligent virtual environment (IVE)" are introduced in the modeling process. How to represent various kinds of perception information in the virtual environment is studied in order to solve the single-perception problem in traditional artificial fish designing. This work sets a good foundation for future research of high-level behavior planning ability of artificial fish.
