Abstract
An experimental fiber-optic network for distribution of microwave signals (1-2 GHz) is presented. Such networks can replace coaxial cables or waveguides inside phased arrays with the advantages of low weight and volume, mechanical flexibility and better immunity to interferences. Their disadvantages are high loss in the RF-optics-RF transitions and high cost
