After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

In 2008, China was impacted severely by the global financial crisis. This paper analyzed the impact of the crisis on China from a perspective of regional economy and discussed China´s response. Through analyzing the role of investment and consumption in the economic recovery and the flow direction of investment in heavy and light industry and other factors, many problems could be found in China´s response during the financial crisis.
