Abstract :
LQG and LQI control theory were used to control the suspension system of the vehicle. We analyzed the characters of the system through simulation, and found that, with the LQI control algorithm, ride comfort and dynamic deflection can be improved simultaneously at the natural frequency of the weight on the spring. While with the LQG control algorithm cannot bring about that. But with LQG control, both of the two characters can be improved at the in-band. While the ride comfort of the suspension was improved at the low-frequency band, the dynamic deflection would increase.
