Abstract :
In this paper various implementation considerations are proposed for achieving better control performance of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). These considerations, which are mainly concentrated on improving the quality of feedback signals, can be divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to reducing high frequency noises, while the second part is aimed to increase the resolution of feedback signals. Resolutions of feedback signals have been improved by changing the reference voltages of ADC according to instantaneous desired torque. Experimental results illustrate the efficiency of proposed considerations in improving the performance of speed control of PMSM.
