Study of the layout of Chinese four main commercial banks´ overseas investment

Based on the background of after crisis time, the study on China´s four big commercial banks´ overseas investment layout is with strong practical significance. This paper reviewed multinational banks´ overseas investment theories, summarized the influencing factors of multinational banks overseas investment, and used panel data of 15 sample countries from 2001 to 2009 to make the empirical analysis of the influence factors of China´s four big commercial banks´ overseas investment layout; concluded that the influences of foreign trade dependency, bilateral investment, bilateral trade and GDP per capita of host countries to the layout of overseas investment abate, and finally used such effects of empirical variables to analyze Chinese banks´ layout in all continents area.
