Abstract :
This paper presents a free space optics system intervening two single-mode optical fibers (SMFs) as if the two SMFs are seamlessly connected without any photoelectric devices while misalignments between the two SMFs due to disturbances are actively compensated. Two types of controllers are introduced to cope with initial beam acquisition problem and tracking performance stabilization under vibration disturbance.
