Abstract
From observations and numerical model results we have detected spatial and temporal variability of the environmental conditions in fjords on the order of hours and hundreds of meters. This leads to patches of infectious agents or bulks of warmer or colder water being advected around in regions with a potential influence on aquaculture production. The use of an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) has proven USV´s to be suitable platforms for collection of environmental information.
