Abstract
We describe and demonstrate two sensors which produce registered depth and intensity data for scene description and model based image interpretation. The first sensor is a variation of the well established principle of laser triangulation. The second sensor employs planar elliptical mirrors in a novel design to allow dynamic reconfiguration of the triangulation geometry. The operation of each sensor is illustrated by experimental data
