  • Abstract
    Based on the background of the cross framework of the university medical insurance system, this paper tries to analyze the medical insurance in the universities from the sight of market segmentation, here, the cross framework indicates that a system which is combined with the commercial medical insurance and the social insurance. Starts from the viewpoint of market segmentation, the analysis treats the “adverse-selection theory” of the commercial medical insurance as the breakthrough point, using the utility function as the instrument in order to find the conclusions of utility, feasibility and deficiency on the commercial medical insurance. The instrument of the analysis on the social problem in this paper is a combination of the serious of dimensionalities, Market segmentation is emphasis on the analysis of macroeconomic policy, the utility function is to focus on the variable of micro economy, and the “adverse selection theory” is equal to the amalgamation between sociology and psychology.
