Abstract :
Investigating gene regulatory networks is important to understand mechanism of cellular functions. Recently, construction of artificial gene regulatory networks which have desired functions is of interest to many researchers because it is a complementary approach to understanding gene regulatory networks, and it could be the first step to develop a method for controlling living cells. We proposed a synthesis method of gene regulatory networks based on gene expression by network learning. This synthesis method can be applied to various synthesis problem of gene regulatory networks. In this paper, we extend the previously proposed synthesis method of gene regulatory networks such that it can be applied to a synthesis problem of a generalized model of gene regulatory networks. Numerical experiments are given to evaluate the performance of the proposed method.
