The North China Electric Power University is one of the 180 college English teaching reform schools in China since 2004. Using the college English teaching reform pilot project of the education ministry as an opportunity, combining with school´s reality, the project group systematically make a deep research and reform practice centering on college English teaching model and management model reform. Through six years´ research and practice, North China Electric Power University has formed a new unique teaching operation organization model and teaching management system series which centering on the teaching quality monitoring, teachers incentive mechanism, student incentive mechanism and multi-angle college English teaching reform and new management models. The project practices greatly promote the university´s quality of college English teaching. And the research plays an important role in promoting university college English teaching reform´s sustainable development.
