Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the light source target design for vision-based blended wing body UAV recovery. A terminal guidance for the blended-wing UAV recovery relies on visual information from light source targets. The proposed target is designed to provide attitude and position of the blended wing UAV. HSI based segmentation is employed for the target detection. The performance of the proposed target design and detection algorithm is evaluated through ground experiments.
