Abstract :
Three-dimensional parametric design of overhead travelling crane has great effects on the heavy machinery industry. In order to enhance market competitiveness, modularization and parametric technology are utilized for structural division of overhead travelling crane; The concept of product holograph model is also imported in building holographic model on maximization principle. By using layout Sketch technology, the holographic model of overhead travelling crane was accomplished; The puzzle of transformation from three-dimensional solid model to two-dimensional engineering drawing by dint of geometry, dimension and engineering restriction; ultimately, a rapid parametric design flat was constructed. The technology has applied to design of overhead travelling crane design in Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Corporation. It can make design efficiency improve 30 percent, and mistake reduce 10 percent.
