Food is one of the most important of our life, which is very influential to our health. We have been investigating multimedia FoodLog, that is photo based food recording tool, which is meant for us to self-control our food intake. Our smartphone based application of FoodLog was recently made available to public use. The app assists us to record our food by image recognition. Differing from conventional food recording tools which rely on textual description, it has a unique food recording method that makes full use of photos of food.
