Abstract :
A supplementary system for the unidirectional currents in a wye-wye connected three-phase transformer is presented. The proposed system is external, as opposed to the common internal one. Consequently, it helps in reducing the size of the huge single unit, in a three-phase transformer bank system, as well as considerably improves its unsymmetrical loading conditions. In addition, some theoretical and experimental results are presented and discussed.
