  • Abstract
Surface texture feature has an important influence on the use of parts performance. Because of cutting parameters and tool path changing, different shapes of texture are formed on surface of machined workpiece by tangential turn-milling. Surface texture of workpiece is studied from scallop height and constructed function, simulated by Matlab. It is shown that the texture height and spacing both increase with the increase of feed per tooth. Experimental results indicate different shapes of surface texture are got when choosing different feed per tooth.
