Abstract :
We developed a novel approach for predictive system performance analysis during different stages of the system development life-cycle, beginning from the pre-design phase to the post production phase. By making use of innovative techniques and tools our approach predicts system performance based on available information. Thus, architectural changes and design tradeoffs can be made accordingly to ensure the system will satisfy functional and non-functional requirements of the target business scenario. The early identification and mitigation of performance pain-points ensures much more efficient utilization of available resources (time, man-hours, cost).
