Abstract :
The standard IEC 62305-3: 2010-12 regarding Physical damage to structures and life hazard was reissued in December 2010. Appendix D Additional information for lightning protection systems in the case of structures with a risk of explosion contains comprehensive changes and new statements on the requirements for the planning, installation, maintenance and testing of lightning protection systems in and near potentially explosive areas. Supplementary sheet 2 contains Additional information for special structures as well as additional information regarding lightning protection systems in potentially explosive areas.
