Abstract :
A new power standard system for the frequency range of 110-170 GHz is reported. The system is designed for calibration of power measuring instruments equipped with WR-6-size waveguide input. The standard is based on the use of isothermal calorimeters as power unit keepers. The system has a basic calorimeter uncertainty of 1.08 %. Demand of power calibration for the frequency range of 110-170 GHz (D-band) is increasing while systems with suitable calibration capability have been, as far as it is known to the authors, hardly available. In this paper, the D-band power standard system, its capabilities, and use for calibrations are reported
