  • Abstract
It is important to analyze electromagnetic scattering characteristics of medium-sized ships for target detection, identification and stealth. Meanwhile establish RCS sample is of some significance for imaging simulation. Numerical methods and high frequency methods are the main methods for the scattering analysis of targets. But it is more proper to calculate electrically large objects with high frequency methods. The FEKO is relatively popular software for electromagnetic approach in high frequency domain. There are five steps in different software modules to simulate required target. In the final, based on the above theory, this paper simulates the typical guided-missile destroyer by using FEKO. The validity and feasibility of the simulation result is verified through comparing with experimental data.
