Abstract :
A novel prototype-based approach is presented to design LTCC band-pass filters with a passband within two reflection-zero frequencies. The proposed approach derives quite compact formulas for synthesizing a filter prototype to meet the specification requirements in the passband insertion and return losses as well as the stopband attenuation. From the real-time prototype simulation, one can efficiently minimize the filter size under various electrical specifications
